Here’s an exciting ministry for people that love to sing to the Lord and be a blessing to the congregation. We are always in need of men and women with a heart to serve Christ in this ministry. You don’t have to sing like an angel, just have a heart to sing for God. To join our choir, you must be a member of our church and in the 9th grade and above. We sing on Sunday morning and have solos and small groups that sing specials on Sunday mornings . We also have 2 musicals a year, Easter and Christmas. If you love to sing, come and join us in this exciting ministry.
BUS MINISTRY
"Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD." Psalm 34:11
If you or someone you know is in need of transportation to church, please call our church office. The bus ministry is focused mainly on bringing young people to church, but our desire is for all to be able to be in God’s house on the Lord’s Day.

Central Baptist Academy exists to support parents in the training and equipping process of their children. Our school offers reasonable tuition and a low student-to-teacher ratio. Our mission is to provide a Biblically-based education in a safe and encouraging environment. We want not only to educate and encourage, but also to equip young men and women to be pleasing and profitable to their parents, society, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

COUPLES MINISTRY
"Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband." Ephesians 5:33
Our couples' ministry is designed with your spiritual growth in mind. We believe in the importance and power of a strong Christian home. It all starts with the consistent spiritual growth of those over the household. The Couples' Ministry is an opportunity to strengthen your relationship as a couple. Through mentoring, Sunday School, marriage conferences, and more you and your spouse will strengthen your marriage in key areas of communication, finances, parenting, conflict management, intimacy, etc. This ministry provides many opportunities for you and your spouse to learn more about marriage and how to better yourselves on several levels.
JUNIOR CHURCH
"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 9:14
A large and exciting ministry of Central Baptist. We minister to ages 3 through 11. The children are encouraged on a weekly basis to learn Bible verses, which correspond to the lesson of the week and learn to apply them to their lives. LADIES’ PRAYER MEETING
"My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up." Psalm 5:3
Our ladies’ group is a small but vital ministry. We meet every Saturday morning at 9:00 AM to study the Bible and have an extended prayer time. We have seen many prayers answered and seen faith increased as ladies' lives are transformed through stronger relationships with the Lord and each other. For more information, see Mrs. Womack.
MAINTENANCE CREW

Here's a great place to use your talents. We have many remodeling projects and can always use men and women who are skilled and unskilled laborers. Whether your talent is craftful use of a hammer, hanging drywall, painting, electrical, landscaping, or cleaning, we can put you to work for the Lord.
MEN’S MINISTRY

Men's Prayer Meeting: Join our men, young and not so young, as they read the scriptures, share prayer requests, and pray for the needs of the Church. Saturday mornings, 9 AM. Meets either in Pastor’s office or in the Fellowship Hall. Men's Prayer Breakfast: Third Saturday of each month, 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. It is a time for the men of our church and friends of all ages to come together for a short devotion, prayer, and fellowship.
NURSERY
"...we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed," I Corinthians 15:51
At Central Baptist, your child’s safety and care are important to us; we have a nursery for children ages newborn to 2 years old. An approved nursery worker will be provided for each service.
SENIOR SAINTS
"Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come." Psalm 71:18
If you are 50 or older (or even younger), you are welcome to join us! Our Senior Saints are encouraged to serve in our church ministries. Our Seniors serve in our children's ministry, sing in our church choir, serve in the usher ministry, teach Sunday School, and much more. Seniors serve a vital role in our church.
Single Saints - This adult fellowship is made up of singles from age 40 and up. The purpose of the fellowship is to assist with support and socialization of our older singles. Every month there are events and activities for this group. Make sure to check the church calendar for all updated activities.

Our youth group is a place where your 6th through 12th grade student will enjoy games and other activities with our young people. However, our primary purpose for this group is to promote and strengthen their personal relationship with Christ. We focus on developing mature Christian adults by encouraging personal devotions, prayer, Scripture memorization, and Christian service. We meet at 6:45 every Wednesday night.
WORD OF LIFE - CHILDREN

Gopher Buddies: Just imagine your child at a very early age, learning how to memorize scripture and getting excited about the Word of God! Gopher Buddies is a fantastic ministry for ages 4 to 6. You can bring your child on Wednesday nights, where they will not only learn to memorize scripture, but how to apply God’s Word to daily life.
Olympians: Our Olympian Ministry is here to provide your elementary students a vehicle for study, meditation, and instruction from the Word of God. As we train youth to accurately handle Scripture, obedience will become a part of their lives and they will be equipped for service. Grade 1 to 6.
